Community Rewards programs through businesses are simple, effortless ways that you can contribute to Sundborn on a regular basis.
We are fortunate to be part of fundraising programs through three different businesses that we know many of our families frequent—Fred Meyer, BottleDrop, Name Bubbles & the First Alternative Co-op—who will donate some amount to our school, at no additional cost to you, through the purchases you’re already making.
The Fred Meyer community rewards program donates up to $625,000 per quarter to non-profit organizations in Alaska, Idaho, Washington, and Oregon. Sundborn gets to be a part of that when you link our school to your rewards card. This means that after the initial setup, which just takes a couple minutes, Sundborn will earn money back on every purchase you make, and you don’t have to do anything outside of your normal grocery shopping routine.
Our non-profit number for this program is TV427.
With all of these programs, there is no expiration and you are encouraged to share this information with your friends and family so that they can sign up too!
Are you an Oregon resident (or do you drive through on occasion)? We have an account with BottleDrop Give. We provide the labels and bags and you fill the Blue Bags with empty beverage bottles and cans and drop them off at any BottleDrop location or one of their partner retailers at your convenience. Your drop them. They count them. Sundborn gets the refund.
Interested? Head over to our Contact page to let us know and we will send you some labels and bags. Please include your shipping address.
Purchase a set of customized labels with your child’s name using our link and we’ll recieve 20%.
We encourage families to label their children’s personal belongings, as it is challenging to keep track of which things belong to who in a class full of children! We use Name Bubbles on our extra clothing and are so impressed with how they look and hold up to all the washes! We hear similar things from parents who also purchase the labels for water bottles and lunch containers. We especially love the shoe inserts that support children’s independence with getting their shoes on the correct feet! Sundborn earns 20% on every purchase, but we also love the utility they serve (and the help they offer in making sure we can return children’s items to the right people).
First Alternative donates money to local schools every year. Co-op owners may tie their owner number to a particular local school so their purchases are registered in support of that school. The greater the amount tallied for each school, the more donation funds it receives. Sundborn is an option! When you sign up for membership, let them know we are the school you want to support.
