	Association Montessori International/USA The International organization for traditional Montessori Teacher Training that Dr. Maria Montessori started in 1929 to protect and manage the standards of her work. The Director of Sundborn is AMI trained.
	Montessori Institute Northwest "MINW" in SE Portland, is THE training center on the west coast in that provides AMI Montessori teacher training at the Assistants to Infancy (ages 0 - 3) and Primary (ages 3 - 6) levels, and serves as a hub of activity within the Montessori community.
